Hello and thank you for taking the time to visit my site.

My name is Sue Pemblington and I live on the beautiful Fens of Lincolnshire. I am married to Andrew and we have a daughter, Catherine, who is my pride and joy. Then last but not least of our little family is Samson, our German Shepherd.

As well as making one of a kind teddy bears, I work full-time for a firm of Accountants in the nearby town of Grantham. 

I first became a collector of teddy bears way back in the mid-nineties, collecting a well known beanie bear, this soon progressed onto other makes, my love was fueled by my mother, much to my husband's dismay.

Now how did I go from collecting to making and designing, well it all started one Christmas, him who must be obeyed said I could have a Steiff Bear for my present: as long as it was not too expensive, Ha!!!! The world was my oyster, so I set to work finding the perfect teddy bear for me. During my surfing journey I was a regular visitor to the teddy bear section of Ebay and it was there that I noticed the sub-category "Artists". Not knowing what an artist teddy bear was I promptly had a peak, from this moment on I was lost in a world of mohair.
I made my first teddy bear in May 2007, since that time I have never failed to be inspired nor have I ever waned in my enthusiasm for all things teddy bear. I have been very lucky to have been awarded several British Bear Artists Awards and a National Teddy Bear Award
